It is our duty to use the tools that give us the opportunity to overcome the globalist tyrants. We must use the internet to educate ourselves and spread the knowledge of the evil we face it is our first and foremost greatest responsibility. We must overcome the tyrants’ use of the education system to reach the next generation before it’s too late for they are the future and we can’t afford to lose them. We must teach them the value of liberty, independence and responsibility to be all that we can be. We must reinforce the concept that we all have the opportunity to be everything we allow ourselves to be, that the only limitations we truly have are those we place on ourselves.

We must embrace the concepts within our Declaration of Independence and fight the globalist’s efforts to divide us by realizing that our unalienable rights are the birthright of all of Humanity. We must spread the flame of liberty until it engulfs the hearts of the people of this land and shines a light so bright it exposes the tyrants’ actions hidden in the darkness and the fog and mist they weave to hide behind. Once their evil is exposed the choice to empower the individual and the need to dismantle the power of government will be so clear that it will become inevitable.

We must then become the example that the world cannot ignore and will wish to emulate as George Washington foretold in his farewell address. Individual liberty is the Creator’s gift to all of Humanity and that is the awakening the globalists fear. They fear the people realizing that we have much more in common than the false lines of division sown to try and weaken us and make us easier to control. We must embrace the responsibilities that liberty demands, self reliance, tolerance and respect. The understanding that we must live and let live must become the norm. Realizing that we are all free to pursue happiness as we all as individuals see fit as long as our actions do not harm or infringe on the liberty of anyone else is our moral duty.

Once Humanity realizes that liberty and freedom is our Creator’s wish to be the natural state for all of us to live in then we shall all be free and will live the enlightened life we are meant to experience. Then we shall become closer to our Creator and liberty and justice for all can be spread throughout the world and tyranny can be abolished. This is when universal human rights can become a reality and a united world living in peace can truly become possible. Then we can overcome our petty differences and work together to ensure that the abundant resources which our Creator has blessed us with can be shared for the good of all of Humanity. Imagine what Humanity united in the common purpose of pursuing happiness and working together can accomplish.

The establishment of a limited government with maximum individual liberty unleashed by the empowerment of the individual has led to unprecedented innovation and progress. Now if we can spread the true spirit of liberty to all of the inhabitants of this planet the progress we’ve made over the last two centuries will pale in comparison. The enlightenment and the empowerment it fosters will lead Humanity to its ultimate destiny to take our place in this grand universe and explore the great mysteries while reaping the riches that our creator intended us to find and experience. Individual diversity in infinite combinations leading to the discovery of the questions and answers we seek and a return to the paradise we lost but can rediscover and reclaim. our destiny and fate.

My Thoughts On What This Election Should Be About

I was asked what I thought the issues are that deserve the greatest amount of attention at this time in the presidential election cycle. I’d have to say that cutting the size and scope of government is an issue that must be accomplished to make America great again. Our federal government has overstepped its constitutional authority establishing too many federal agencies. These agencies pass regulations that are enforced as if they had the power of law and are burdensome, impossible for the common citizen to know little less navigate. Basically they can find anyone guilty of some transgression without even knowing it. We need to get rid of these agencies and restore liberty.

We have militarized our police and government agencies beyond what is reasonable. We have government agencies with hollow point bullets which are against the rules of law according to the Geneva Convention. These agencies are not only tyrannical, abusive and a threat to our unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but they also are financially killing our economy. The Departments of Education, Drug Enforcement, Housing and Urban Development, Energy and the BLM are outside of the enumerated powers and need to be eliminated. Regulations from the Department of Environmental Protection are also being used to steal property, kill our people, their livelihoods and the energy sector and deny America energy independence in an all of the above energy policy where the free market decides. So this is both an economic issue and an issue of restoring our individual liberty.

I was asked what we should be talking about to the American people. I say speak of the cornerstone of what has made America great, liberty. Our country was founded on the concept of liberty and it empowered the American people to rise from thirteen colonies declaring independence from the most powerful empire to becoming the greatest nation the world has ever known. Focus on the vision of bringing peace through strength and ending the never ending cycle of war. Focus the attention of the American people on building our economic strength to enable us to rebuild not only our neighborhoods but our military and our space program as well. Paint a vision of a country united pushing the boundaries of human imagination. Unleash the American spirit to soar by protecting liberty, restoring faith in the government by not sacrificing liberty for security and ending the unconstitutional practices that infringe on our liberty. Remember what Benjamin Franklin said,” Those willing to sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither.” Stop treating the American people like criminals and the enemy and focus on real threats to our security.

I was asked what I thought of the Republican leadership in the Senate. Here I agree with Donald Trump these politicians have been all talk and no action. They along with the House Republicans have enabled Obama’s lawlessness by not blocking his actions. They have abrogated their responsibilities and emboldened Obama’s actions. They have not used the power of the purse or done anything to stop the transformation of our great country. The Congress has also abandoned its constitutional authority over monetary policy to the Federal Reserve. I thought it was right that the Fed was called out at the end of the last debate. The Fed should be audited, disbanded with the power being returned to the Congress and all Federal Reserve officials should be held accountable for their actions and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I was asked what I thought about the presidential campaign. I think it needs to focus on speaking about what made America great in the first place. That liberty and the free market capitalist economy is what drove innovation and changed the world for the better. Detail how we’re going to cut government size, scope and cost and enable liberty to flourish. This is what will lead to peace, harmony prosperity and the rebirth of the American republic and all it stands for. Talk about how strength through diversity helped make American exceptionalism possible with the empowerment that liberty unleashed. We need to talk about uniting the American people against the divisive narrative the government and the media are using to weaken us.

Finally I was asked if there was any big idea that should be focused on. I believe that when it is all said and done that Liberty is what made America great. The power must be transferred back to the people and the states. The federal government needs to be cut back down to the size intended by our constitution. It’s time to end the political elite class and return the government and our hard earned money back to the people. Let the spark of liberty ignite and consume the hearts and minds of the American people and spread across this land. Let’s return the government back to its rightful place as a servant of the true rulers of this land, the American people. Ensure that we use education to teach the American people our founding values and principles. That is the only way we can once again become the guardians of our republic and ensure that it never again escapes the chains of the constitution meant to bind it.

Obama and the Attack Against Religious Freedom

Posted in Politics, Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on February 16, 2012 by authorcarloscardoso

The Obama administration’s latest attack against the Constitution with Secretary Sebellius forcing religious institutions to have to pay for things against their beliefs is a blatant attack not only against the Catholic Church but the First Amendment. The uproar caused the administration to reconsider its position and offer an alternative while saying they can go no further. The audacity and argument is arrogant especially coming from a President who taught Constitutional Law. The First Amendment is clear, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof”. This so called compromise of not forcing The Church to pay for the coverage but requiring the insurance companies to pay for it is another example of this President’s political posturing. The church which employs many Americans in supplying needed social services such as universities of higher learning, hospitals and charity services to the poor has reacted to this outrage led by the Catholic Bishops threatening legal action. The administration’s so called compromise was a ruse and an outright lie. The President knows the constitution bars the federal government from this mandate and both Secretary Sebellius and President Obama must be held accountable. This is not an argument about the availability of contraceptions or the morning after pill being available to women as Secretary Sebellius has argued. This is an orchestrated attack on the Constitution of the United States. Our liberties are being attacked through monstrous legislation such as the Affordable Patient Healthcare Act. Remember then Speaker Pelosi saying we had to pass this bill to find out what was in it. It seems the more we learn the more we see why this bill was written to be thousands of pages long to hide government intrusion on our liberties and freedoms. People of good conscience must stand together to fight to retain our freedoms and restrain the government as our Constitution was intended to do. The argument cannot be allowed to be framed in the context of healthcare choices and or availability. This is a direct attack on our right to freedom of religion being beyond the power of the federal government to interfere in. All Americans of all Christian denominations and believers in our Republic and its values must stand united against this affront to all of us. The view of President Obama who called the Constitutiton a document of negative liberty because it retained the power in the hands of the people and not the federal government is out of touch with our founding values and the majority of patriotic Americans across this land. When one listens to the words of Supreme court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg telling the Egyptian people not to model their constitution after ours, saying there are better more modern ones to choose from is reprehensible conduct and shows we must free ourselves from these people. The attack by Obama and his cohorts must be stopped. The Constitution must be defended, clearly the actions and statements of President Obama, Secretary of Health and Human Services Sebellius and Supreme Court Justice Ginsberg are grounds for their dismissal. The Constitution allows for changes and as such is a living document through the amendment process, not by legislative action, executive orders or judicial activism. Washington must be purged of these people who do not believe in our Constitution and are clearly not defending or upholding it which is their responsibility and the oath they took. The line has been crossed and we must take our country back in November and return to the limited government our founding fathers gave us. Benjamin Franklin when asked what kind of government they had given us after the Constitutional Convention answered, ” A republic ma’am if you can keep it.” The time has come for us to join together to ensure we keep it for ourselves and our posterity.

Tea Party Blamed For Debt Deal Debacle

Posted in Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on August 6, 2011 by authorcarloscardoso

The article begins with a baseless and offensive attack against conservative Americans in its title, “Tea party has engaged in economic terrorism”. The truth is that the Obama administration and the super majority in both houses of congress gave the Democrats the ability for 2 years to raise the debt ceiling to whatever level they wanted to finance all their spending plans and failed to do so. The President offered no vision, plan or any sense of urgency on resolving the issue until the Treasury Department declared the country would default on its obligations to pay our debts unless the debt ceiling was raised by August 2, 2011. This statement was misleading and began to cause concerns in the markets. They should have assured the world that the US would not default on any loan payments. The federal government could have begun looking at non-essential government workers and beginning to implement a furlough program to extend the government’s ability to pay for all essential services. The federal government didn’t do what all local, county and state governments did when faced with that dilemma, cut government spending. No they proposed allowing them to spend more. They needed to find unnecessary bureaucracy and cut the size of the federal government. The Tea Party wasn’t the irresponsible group in this fiasco, no it was the Democrats who refused to consider significant spending cuts when they knew this path of spiraling debt is unsustainable especially in this weak economy. The author who is nationally syndicated could have debated her points without resorting to calling those who disagree with her, “economic terrorists and equating their actions with that of Al-Qaida. Then she went on to call them” ignoramuses” again degrading and slandering her opponents because she cannot win in an honest and open debate on the issues without resorting to name calling. The Tea party which is an ideal shared by many American citizens who understand that we must fix our economic situation if we are to regain our place as the leader of the free world.

This country is at a crossroads and the choice has never been clearer, do we want a government that believes that taxing, spending and borrowing, leading to unfathomable amounts of debt is the proper course for our nation to take? Debt that our generation will not be able to pay to leave to our children and grandchildren to pay is unconscionable. Thomas Jefferson wrote, “Then I say the earth belongs to each of these generations during it’s course, fully, and in their own right. The 2d. generation receives it clear of the debts and incumbrances of the 1st., the 3d. of the 2d. and so on.”Or do we want a limited government that can live within its means. The Wall Street crash and downgrading of our nation’s credit rating prove the debt must be addressed now. How sad is it for our country to have to listen to Vladimir Putin of Russia call the United States a parasite on the world because we can’t live within our means. China has said the good old days of borrowing are over.

The stock market has been plummeting since the debt ceiling debate showed that this administration had no intention of significantly cutting spending any more than they had to. They also showed their hypocrisy when they continued to talk about revenues, meaning tax hikes after they agreed to the idea that the economy was too weak in the lame duck session of congress to raise taxes and they agreed to extending the Bush tax cuts until 2012. This President has the ignominious honor of being the first President to lose the country’s triple A credit rating and having more people receiving government assistance than ever before in history. All while unemployment remains above what he said it would in spite of the stimulus package that needed to be passed immediately to avert a possible depression. Now with our credit in question, our economy in shambles, unemployment and foreclosures up and the housing market severely weak, here come rising interest rates and further devaluation of the dollar to further weaken our economy. The President needs to take responsibility for the economy and his role over the last two years through the effects of his policies. He also needs to use his influence to end the toxic atmosphere in politics by calling for an end to the bashing of his opponents and toning down this incendiary rhetoric.

Contact President Obama and Demand Leadership on the Debt Ceiling Debate

Posted in Politics with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on July 30, 2011 by authorcarloscardoso

President Obama used the bully pulpit to call out to his supporters to call and email the Republicans to presssure them for their role in this crisis. Unfortunately this is a word this administration has used often but their responses or lack thereof depends on what fits their agenda. I would urge any American who has come to terms with the idea that our curent form of government has grown unsustainable to call the White House and demand leadership not the partisanship and divisiveness that this President has worsened. The contact information can be found at http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact. Below is an example you could view and use if you agree. It is time to hold the President accountable for his actions and or lack thereof.

President Obama,

With all due respect to your office, I find your comments from your press conferences on the debt ceiling debate to be more about political posturing than actual leadership. This crisis is just another example of a trend we’ve seen under your administration. You let things simmer failing to act little less lead, until positions harden then announce the need to get it done quickly. You wait until the last possible moment and declare an emergency. Then out you come portraying the role of the statesman who gets congress to work together. You excel at playing the blame game instead of leading. You were in charge of an undivided government for 2 years and didn’t feel the need to sufficiently address this issue at all, why? You weren’t willing to pay the political price to own this issue with your fellow Democrats. Now you have your scapegoat, someone to blame for your own ineptitude, those intransient Republicans. You ran for the office you hold to lead. Forget about your political future when considering making the hard choices. Follow your oath and do what is right to lead this nation back to prosperity. Present the American people with your plan, detailing your positions and how you intend to achieve them.

You speak of a balanced approach with spending cuts and additional revenue to not chance harming the economy. However it is your policies which have accelerated and even helped to create the mess we are in. The American economy needs jobs; this can only be accomplished by creating an atmosphere where our free market, capitalist system is encouraged to invest in America and her bright future. I’m sure you also realize that spending cuts alone will not solve our problem. The trade deficit incurred by our country for energy is also a threat to our long term fiscal strength. The obvious answer is to expand our efforts for domestic production, refining and use of our natural resources to lower both energy prices and unemployment. Increased workers being hired across the country will lead to increased revenues for the government and improve America’s long term financial health.

We owe it to our children to leave them with a clean slate and a fresh start to pursue their dreams. The deficit must be addressed and our debt paid down. Failure to do so is immoral and will define the lack of leadership on your part and your legacy. Stop trying to scare people into acting hastily in a manner they may later regret. Plan, prepare and react in a timely manner to issues that arise so the American people can watch the actions of our elected officials. You promised transparency and yet all we see is legislation being passed without lawmakers even having the opportunity to review it. Yet you promised us the American people would have access to critical legislation through the internet far enough in advance for us to review it and to allow our thoughts to be heard. This is one of many broken promises made by you on the campaign trail. You seem to lack substance when it comes to governing. Campaigning and governing are separate and distinct functions. You have yet to show much of an appetite for the latter. Stop trying to act like a leader and actually be one.

You asked the American people to contact their elected officials and share their views hoping to pressure your opponents to give in to your demands. I pray this is just one of many voters holding you personally accountable for this mess and contacting you. This is your mess, no more passing the buck or the blame. Time for you to stand up and fix things now before it’s too late. You wanted the job now get out there and do it right, be the leader you aspired to be and millions thought you capable to be. This is a historic moment and history will judge you by your actions and or inactions at this time of great uncertainty. Present us with a plan with specifics. Do your job and lead.

Respectfully.
